Sometimes I am just in awe how cute our little Julia is!!!

Julia is eating great! She likes to try anything I give her... we'll see if that keeps up! She also loves to drop her food for our dog Chrissie to enjoy... Chrissie now has to stay in her bed while Julia eats.

Time with Grandpa

Grandpa just came to visit for a week... Julia had lots of fun!!! Here they are walking together. She had lots of practice climbing the stairs while Grandpa was visiting. When I have help, I wonder how I do it on my own!

Here they are outside, Grandpa taught Julia to make our wind chimes 'chime' by hitting the paddle below the chimes. For at least a week after Grandpa left, Julia would look up the stairs while eating her breakfast... I'm sure she was wondering when Grandpa would be coming down to play!

Swimming!!!

Julia loves the pool!! She is blowing bubbles and splashing a lot! So much for keeping my hair dry!
I wanted to mention that I was going to post pictures from the past year, but it feels like too much work to back track. Most of you have seen her growth this past year anyways.

Yosemite Falls

A couple weeks ago we spent a week end in Yosemite with Shawn's parents, we had a great time! Shawn and I took one of the days to hike Yosemite Falls. The weather was not what we expected or prepared for...SNOW!!! It was raining when we started our hike and the higher we got the more snow was coming down. It was an awesome time together and a great challenge! We got a little damp and cold (Cindy in her shorts!!!), but the strenuous hike and Shawn's determination kept us going.

Do you like our snowman? I liked the idea, but Shawn made it happen.

Sunny Yosemite

Here we are in Yosemite with Grammy & Papa. We had a great day walking through some beautiful parts of Yosemite.
Julia had fun being outdoors, she especially loved the waterfalls.












Here is Julia with her Grammy & Papa. Papa sure is silly! Grammy taught Julia to clap her hands for the first time. In thie photo you can see the Yosemite Falls that Shawn and I hiked up the day before. We hiked up to just above the left of the waterfall.
